You’ve got your sprint planning, your retros, your pointing sessions, your burndown charts—and somehow, you're still missing deadlines and releasing trash.
That’s because Agile was never supposed to be about ceremonies.
It was about responsiveness, collaboration, and delivering value.

Standups Aren’t a Strategy
You can have daily standups and still not communicate.
You can have retrospectives and still repeat the same failures.
You can track every story point and still ship the wrong thing.
Because checklist compliance doesn’t build great software.
Conversations do. Alignment does. Courage does.
Stop hiding behind Jira like it’s a shield. Talk to each other. Ask hard questions. Break process if it’s not working. The sprint board isn’t sacred—it’s a tool. And tools should serve people, not the other way around.
Agile Theater Is a Time Sink

- PMs obsessing over velocity charts instead of value.
- Devs gaming point estimates.
- QA left out of planning because “we’ll loop them in later.”
- Retros where everyone says “communication could improve” like it’s a spell to lift the curse of mediocrity.
It’s all theater. And bad theater at that.
Agile is a mindset, not a checklist. You’re allowed to break the rules if it makes your team better. Hell, you should.

- Kill meetings that don’t spark real value
- Build feedback loops that actually inform decisions
- And for the love of all that is functional—stop doing things just because “Scrum says so”
